Family Honor Gulf Coast just completed its 6th year of presenting programs in the Gulf Breeze, FL area. We did a Real Love & Real Life program this past February at St Ann's in Gulf Breeze and we have been working with the Diocese of Pensacola - Tallahassee to be able to bring Family Honor to more parishes in our area. To this end, Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola, FL has agreed to sponsor at least two Family Honor Real Love & Real Life programs next year that are open to all parishes in the area, with the potential of more programs as demand increases.
The Sacred Heart Hospital marketing department has agreed to help with promotion, funding, and provide scholarships to families who may need financial help to attend. Sacred Heart Hospital provides excellent facilities and a centralized location. We look forward to a fruitful relationship with this leading Catholic organization in our area!
We also welcomed new presenters this year, Chip and Lucia Moes along with their daughter, Patricia, as a teen presenter. And we welcome Allison Carter on board as a teen presenter.

Last November the Raleigh team hosted our first Family Honor Information Session for people interested in learning more about Family Honor, the online training course, and what it’s like to be a program presenter. From this session we gained two new Board members and one new course participant! Our goal is to hold these sessions each spring and fall in an effort to increase our team so we can serve more families in the Raleigh Diocese
Our affiliate is part of the feature story in the January/February issue of our diocesan magazine, NC Catholics. Family Honor – Raleigh, along with other pro life, pro family organizations in the Raleigh Diocese, were all contacted by the magazine to be the focus of its January pro-life issue. Being included in this was a real honor and a blessing!
We will have a table at the 8th annual Ignited by Truth Catholic Conference (www.ignitedbytruth.com) on March 19 & 20 at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. This is the conference where 5 years ago several current team members first learned about Family Honor, so we’re very excited to be hosting our own table again this year. Nationally-known speakers attending include Fr. Dwight Longenecker, a convert from the Anglican priesthood and author, and Dr. Greg & Lisa Popcak who co-direct the Pastoral Solutions Institute. Last year’s conference attendance was 2500! This event is great exposure for us and a wonderful opportunity to promote programs and the online course.

The Family Honor Northwest, PA affiliate is presenting programs this year and also planning for some marketing efforts in a few months. They will hold a board meeting in May.
